Requirements to publish courses
South Africa has an international reputation for providing education of the highest quality. A good quality education is one that provides all learners with the capabilities they require to become economically productive, develop sustainable livelihoods, contribute to peaceful and democratic societies and enhance individual well-being.
High-quality education is a prerequisite for learning and human development and with this in mind, we have put in place very strict rules and regulations if you want to teach on our platform.
Non-Accredited skills courses
- certificate from a recognized industry professional body in the subject matter or relevant work experience and
- teaching experience
- references
Accredited skills courses
- relevant certification from a recognized industry professional body in the subject matter
- registration as an education provider from a recognized professional body
- teaching experience
- references
(Examples of the above – Microsoft, Adobe, TOEFL, Saiosh, CIMA)
Coaching and mentoring
- recognised Coach/Mentor training provider (SETA Aligned, Quality Assured and Assessed)
- registered Coach/Mentor training provider (Non-SETA Aligned, Quality Assured and Assessed)
- coach/Mentor training provider with relevant experience (portfolio)
- member of COMENSA or references
School subjects
- teaching Diploma or Degree +
- teaching experience
- SACE registration
- references
Accredited unit standards and Qualifications
- training Providers must be accredited by a SETA or CHE for e-learning
- facilitators must have a qualification one level higher than the one you want to teach
- facilitators must have a teaching certificate or qualification
- training material must be aligned to NQF unit standards or qualifications and is accredited by a particular SETA or CHE
- moderators and assessors must be registered for the qualification by the relevant SETA or CHE
